We Be Jammin' Becky Hippert and Gretchen Gallagher Weinstein are the masterminds behind We Be Jammin’ homemade jam and handmade items

We Be Jammin’ began in 1998 when Becky and a friend went out to a local farm on a Saturday morning and picked way too many strawberries. Another friend suggested that they try making jam since it didn’t seem that hard. After four hours and three trips to the grocery store, 40 jars were made! The following year, we produced more strawberry jam before spreading out to additional flavors – still as a

hobby – with the jars handed out to family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors. Gretchen joined the team soon after, and the We Be Jammin’ duo was born!

Hey We Be Jammin Fans! We are excited to tell you that we are coming out of our winter hibernation and stumbling into the kitchen this weekend to get ready for the first day of the Northeast Minneapolis Farmers Market, which is scheduled for Saturday, May 9th! We'll be there from 9 am to 1 pm with our homemade jam and other handmade items. We'll send out a reminder here next week again, but we just couldn't wait to let you know that we'll be seeing you soon!

Our final sale for 2025 is this weekend. We will be at the Roseville Holiday Craft Fair at Roseville City Hall on Saturday, 10-4 and Sunday, 12-4. This is your last chance to pickup jam and other gifts for the holidays. Please come say hi and check out the other vendors!

Tomorrow (Sat, November 8) we will be at the Maple Grove Lions and Seniors Holiday Craft Boutique. The sale is from 9 am-4 pm at the Maple Grove Community Center. We will have lots of jam and other gift ideas. We look forward to seeing everything there tomorrow!

Maple Grove Lions and Seniors Holiday Craft Boutique is back at the Maple Grove Community Center on Saturday, November 8th, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Mark your calendars!
