This is Bertha, or as I have been calling her, Big Bertha. A very scared lady but oh so sweet. I have not seen a mean bone in this this pretty girl. She has settled into her kennel really well and has eaten well today.
We keep trying some different treats but so far she has not been interested in them.
I dont think she has been eating well even though she had plenty of feed. Sometime when animals are depressed they just wont eat.
If anyone like to donate some treats, food or canned food for her we would really appreciate it.
She is a big girl and is going to have a big appetite. We typically do not take in dogs since a
Our rescue is supposed to be for equines but this situation was dire and she needed a place to be.
We will keep everyone updated on her progress.

LAST KIDS DAY OF THE SUMMER!!!

Teus Aug 4th. This is the last opportunity for your kids to have some great fun on the farm. Bring them out to spend the day with us.
9am Long pants and closed toes shoes, no sandals.

$25 per child

Our internet and phones are not working so no preregistration required , just come on.

We are having a kids day tomm Monday the 27th. Let me know if you are brining your kids!! Ground is wet but safe.

Next Friday is VBS at Double 00 Farm. This is a free day for all school age kids. If thwy are under 5 someone will need to stay with them. 9 am til 3pm. They need to have on long pants and closed to shoes no crocs or sandals. They can bring shorts for after lunch.
We will feed them. Please let me know how many are coming so we can have plenty of food.
