🍈 100 Days Until Figapalooza 2026 - Greenville's Fig Festival! 🍈
Figapalooza 2026 is officially 100 days away!
On Saturday, September 19, Figapalooza returns to the Eastern Carolina Village & Farm Museum in Greenville, NC for its 4th year — and this year is shaping up to be something special.
Figapalooza is more than a market.
It is a celebration of figs, gardening, rare fruit, plant people, local farms, food, history, memory, and community.
Figs are one of the oldest cultivated fruits in the world, and they carry a kind of history that people feel personally. Across the South and coastal North Carolina, figs are tied to backyard trees, family preserves, old homesteads, summer fruit, handed-down recipes, and memories of grandparents’ yards.
Whether you are already growing figs, just getting started, remembering the fig trees your family had when you were young, or simply curious about why so many people love this ancient fruit, Figapalooza is a place to learn, connect, taste, and explore.
You can expect:
🍈 Fig trees, fig growers, rare fruit plants, and plant vendors
🌱 Conversations about growing, propagating, pruning, and caring for figs
🪴 Gardeners, plant collectors, farmers, and fig enthusiasts from across the region
📖 Stories, memories, and education about figs, their history, and their place in family food traditions
🍽️ Food trucks, drinks, baked goods, local treats, and fig-inspired possibilities
🎟️ Raffle prizes, sponsor tables, family-friendly activities, and more
🤝 A community gathering built around figs, plants, food, gardening, and local small businesses
Figapalooza is for the fig collectors, the backyard gardeners, the rare fruit growers, the plant lovers, the food people, the families, and anyone who remembers how special one good fruit tree in the yard can be.
Last year, Figapalooza welcomed 900+ attendees and 40+ vendors. This year, we are preparing for continued growth with a stronger layout, more fig growers, more plants, more food, more community, and an even better festival experience.
