That's a wrap on the Pretzel Seminar at our Science & Innovation Center! 🥨

Attendees from around the world worked alongside RBS experts to deepen their understanding of ingredient selection, dough handling, low pressure extrusion, baking and other key aspects of pretzel production. Through live demonstrations, participants also explored co-extrusion, and ancient- and multigrain applications.

If you have not heard the news, we're expanding the RBS Science & Innovation Center!

To better support our customers' growing product development needs, Reading Bakery Systems is investing in an expansion that will significantly increase capacity for customer trials and equipment testing.

The enhanced facility will feature three dedicated pilot production lines for:
🥨 Low Pressure Extruded Snacks: pretzels, bread and other baked snacks
🍘 Sheeted snacks: crackers, biscuits, and chips
🍪 Cookies & Pet Treats - rotary moulded and wirecut products

By creating dedicated production lines, we'll reduce equipment changeovers, accommodate more customer trials, and shorten scheduling lead times, helping manufacturers bring new products to market faster and with greater confidence.
