Jasper Junction Poultry sells gray, buff, blue, lilac and lavender Dewlap Toulouse Goslings and white/mixed color Sebastopol goslings in the spring of every year.

A pretty decent hatch this time (all Dewlaps): grays, buffs, blue, lavenders, possibly a lilac (and a project bird or two).

POST OFFICE AND EXPRESS MAIL DELIVERY

For those whose goslings have shipped TODAY (Tuesday), and you've gone to the USPS tracking page, you will likely see a delivery date "by Saturday at 6 pm."

That is now the date the POST OFFICE gives itself before they will refund for late delivery. How does a 2 day guaranteed delivery sent Tuesday arrive on time by Sat at 6 pm?

It's a sincere question. If someone knows the answer, let me know.

Fortunately, I haven't had a single delivery take more than 2 days this year. Many have, in fact, been delivered in one day. (Hope this doesn't jinx it.)

Also....in order for your order to get filled, you may receive a gosling that is 6 days to 1 week older than the other one. There will be a size difference for a short while, but they will be fine.

TO THOSE WHO ARE GETTING SHIPMENTS THIS WEEK:

Leg Bands - Remember to remove leg bands immediately when you get your birds.

The rubber bands indicate s*x. Males are banded on the right. Females are banded on the left.

The zip ties are for my purposes only. Be careful cutting them off.

The colors on both types of bands are unimportant. They are for my purposes only.

SEBASTOPOLS - ALL SOLD

It looks like I may have a couple pairs of Sebs available in the next two weeks.

(All depends on hatching results, of course.)

I'm taking orders for 4 pairs. No promises, but that's a fairly conservative estimate on availability.

Only mixed colors including whites. No white only orders and no colored only orders.
