Crescere Farm, named from the Latin verb, to grow, is a stunning property set amidst one of the most topographically diverse sites in Central Virginia with rolling hills, lovely waterways, forests, cliff-sides and unique bottomlands all surrounded by the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains. Each view is more spectacular than the next and honestly looks, well, like the most beautiful bucolic painting you’ve ever seen. H**p, vegetable and flower cultivation are central to our sustainable farming operation which is also home to our growing cattle herd, horses and beehives.
The concept for Crescere Agri-Resort was born out of owner Barbara Miller’s advocacy for and belief in h**p as an Earth saving plant. While at H**p Victory Day in Washington D.C. shortly after the passing of the historic 2018 Farm Bill, plans to grow this re-legalized crop on her newly acquired 762 acre farm began to take form. Recognizing the opportunity to teach the world about this amazing carbon sequestering plant, Barbara assembled a team eager to assist in the development of Crescere into a one of a kind eco-retreat.
Crescere Farm is home to Save The Earth H**p headquarters. Our h**p cultivation and research operation spans our dual farms; Crescere Farm in Madison County and Edgewood-Miller Farm in Orange County. Plans for the 2020 season are to continue refining our wide array of h**p genetics including CBD, CBG and Fiber varieties. Utilizing a range of growing methods with an aggressive focus on research and development, our research outcomes will be shared for the benefit of regional farmers and the industry at large. Crescere Farm holds the honor of being the Farm of Record for Halcyon Holdings LLC, a groundbreaking vertically integrated h**p technology and distribution company. Halcyon’s Benchmark Nutriceuticals will process our CBD and CBG crops utilizing their industry disruptive, all natural patent-pending technology.
Local farmers are encouraged to join us at The H**p Hub of Central Virginia, a co-op founded to support h**p farmers and industry growth in our region.
