G&G Longhorns G&G Longhorns, one of the premier herds east of the Mississippi located in Central Virgina In 1988 G&G Longhorns started breeding for quality longhorns.

This is the goal for every longhorn breeder. However, our quality is based around supplying the best quality for the least amount. We have come full circle. In the beginning we wanted to win every show, every contest, and buy the best and most in every sale. At this point in G&G's life cycle we would much rather breed a cow or bull that now belongs to an aspiring breeder who will go on and show or compete with the animal and win. That's what we're about.

Lot #7 at the Millennium Futurity Sale is Rustic Rosewood. She's sired by Don't Stop Believin' out of BCR Mary. She's super calm and as you can see, super correct. This is one you'll want to see in your pasture everyday! The bidding has already started so you might as well join the fun.

It's Millennium Sale and Futurity week!
Lot #7 is Rustic Rosewood. She's so well built that you'll struggle to find any faults on her. It's not coincidence, it's genetics. Check out this short video of Rustic Rosewood's momma nursing her full brother. BCR Mary 930 has a perfect udder and knows how to use it. Look at the size of this bull calf and you'll see Rustic Rosewood is no fluke.

Longhorns munching on thick grass in October is music to our ears. With the drought we had this summer, we would have never guessed we would have had all this grass in the fall. God is good!

We had a great day measuring cows today for the Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America Horn Showcase. It's gonna be a long week waiting on the results to come out. Thanks to the folks that brought cattle to get measured and the gang that came to help measure.
Can't wait to see the bronzes that come to Virginia!
