October is 👏HERE👏, which means we’re sprinkling the 🍂FALL-IEST🍂 of our new fall cocktails into your algorithm first. Our Spiced Apple Spritz is curated with tequila, Catoctin Creek Applejack, Cocchi Americano, our house spiced apple c***r syrup, lemon, angostura bitters, and of course, 🥂PROSECCO🍾! We hope to see those pinkies out while sippin’ on this true welcome to the harvest season. If you like apple desserts, this one’s for you! 🥧

It’s that time of year again! Baklava time! 🍻🧿

Baklava Delivery Boy Special (6.5%) is our collab with Vegetarian/Vegan Greek Fare. It’s a Spiced B**r featuring local ingredients, including honey from our rooftop hives, malt from Monroe County, and hops from the Finger Lakes. We brewed it with Baklava spices from Voula’s, giving it notes of cinnamon and clove. It’s a little strange and a little sweet.

Hey, remember when it was summer? Where’d the time go? We know you wanna take a bite into one of our last nods to the warmer weather with our Fried Chicken Lettuce Wraps! Carefully plated with bibb lettuce, rice noodles, garlic scape green curry mayo, slaw, crispy onion and garlic, and herbs.

Fields and Fen is a double decocted Fresh Hop L***r. Decoction is the process by which we remove a portion of the mash, the water/grain mixture at the beginning of the brewing process, and boil it for 20 mins or so, then return it to the rest of the mash raising the overall temperature of the mash. This generates complex malt flavors and adds depth to our l***r b**rs. In addition to a double decoction, we use local malt, grown right here in Monroe County and malted by our friends at Murmuration in E. Bloomfield and Willamette hops come from Skaneateles Hop Farm.

Introducing our newest offering ✨ non-alcoholic Strangebird! All the flavor, none of the flight 🚫

Flightless is a classic non-alcoholic l***r that is light, crisp and refreshing. Its bready malt character is balanced by the herbal, floral and lightly spicy notes of Perle and Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops. This one is only 54 calories and is crushable.

Our Ellyn era is ending. We are sad to see her go, but grateful for the many and important contributions Ellyn Gooch has made to Strangebird over the past 4.5 years.

Ellyn was hired as a bartender when Strangebird opened in late 2021. She was driven towards b**r from the beginning, and when we had an opening in the brewing department in 2023, Ellyn applied and completely nailed the interview. She quickly proved her worth as a quick study, dove in headfirst to brewing, made processes more efficient, and our b**r better. If you have enjoyed the consistency and quality of Strangebird’s b**r over the past 3.5 years, it was in no small part, due to Ellyn’s work ethic and attention to detail.

She will be missed by us all at Strangebird, but we are excited for what her future holds. If you stop in before Saturday, please join us in raising a glass to Ellyn 🍻

Mark your calendars 🗓️ On Sunday, October 11, the Seneca Park Zoo will be bringing the ZooMobile to Strangebird!

Join us from 12pm to 3pm outside of the Brew Bar for live animals and a cricket and b**r tasting. In addition, we’ll be donating a portion of every b**r sold from the Brew Bar during this time.
