Visit Aldaskeller Wine Co. this First Friday, March 1 from 5-8pm for "Back of House" by Vivian Rivers. A collection of film photographs celebrating and recognizing the many moving parts behind the food and beverage scene here in Rochester; showcasing the people whose hard work goes into the meals, baked goods, and coffee you order everyday. Complimentary natural wine tasting by Skurnik Wines & Spirits as well as small snacks by Fromage and Friends.

Hello fam!!! Join us today 6/23 from 4:00 - 7:00 for a rare Friday night tasting. Abel will be at the shop for an in-store tasting, pouring y’all some tasty treats from the Skurnik Wines book. The line up is a bit eclectic this time around featuring two sakes from Brooklyn, some Tepache from Mexico made from fermented pineapples, & two delicious wines -- a skin contact white from Cali 🛸👽 & a Demeter certified Tinto from Navarra, Spain. It's our one-year anniversary!!! We're celebrating w/ an art show, wine tasting, and anniversary party at the shop tonight (6/16) from 6:00 - 8:00 featuring artwork from Flour Pail Kids. Then join us on Saturday (6/17) for a wine tasting w/ Dan from T. Edwards! Pouring from 12:00 - 4:00 and open until 7:00. NOW LET'S PARTY!!!

Like Portuguese wines? Check out these new arrivals from João Pato (a.k.a. Duckman) Wines (Bairrada) and Bojo do Luar (Vinho Verde). These wines showcase some of the incredible indigenous varieties of these regions such as Espadeiro, Baga, Alvarelhão, and Fernão Pires, just to name a few!

Tomorrow is Saturday & it’s going to be another beautiful day & nothing screams beautiful weather quite like wine from Basque Country, Spain. The Basque Country wine region is the land of the zingy, zesty, and slightly fizzy wine, Txakolina. This bright, refreshing, tangy, slightly effervescent, dry, and very mineral wine (hints of the salty sea breeze) is made primarily from local grapes called Hondarribia Zuri and Hondarribia Beltza. This Saturday from 12:00 - 4:00 we will be pouring a white, a rosè, & a wonderfully refreshing cider from the Basque Country. If you have never had a wine from this region or if you are already head over heels for Basque Country wines & ciders, stop in the shop from 12:00 - 4:00 on Saturday and get yourself a sip; you’ll be thanking us all summer long!!!
