Upcoming Butcher Dates
I currently have openings for:
-May 7th butcher date
-June 4th butcher date
Delivery & Payment
I deliver the beef the evening before the butcher date to allow the animals to settle after transport. I provide Burt’s Meats in Eyota, MN (Butcher) with your information. Once we receive the hanging weight, you would pay me for your portion of the beef. We can work out payment via check, PayPal, Venmo, or Cash App.

Processing & Butcher Order
Burt’s will contact you by phone, or you can reach out to them directly to place your butcher order. They will ask detailed questions, including:
-Steak thickness and quantity per package
-Roast sizes (in pounds)
-Hamburger package size (e.g., pounds per package)
-If you don’t prefer many roasts, they can be ground into hamburger
-Optional: Hamburger patties are available in convenient 5-lb packages for grilling

Best birthday present ever! We have two new calves! That puts us at 3 healthy, happy, nursing well, and frolicking like crazy babies for the season! I couldn't be happier!

Soooooooooo I have some exciting news! Hustler Farm Equipment chose Hofschulte Family Farms to film for an upcoming commercial!!! The last two days we have had the fabulous Dennis Noack at our farm filming us using our Hustler equipment to feed our cattle. He has been amazing to work with and made this whole process very comfortable ... despite it feeling like -30 outside. 😱 I don't know when it will be done but you know I will share it with EVERYBODY as soon as we can.

Even though it's almost winter, cold, windy, and most everything is brown, it's still so beautiful to me. This is my back yard. This is my home. This is where I raise my children. This is my happy. Thank you to everyone who helps support our farm, our business, and the happy life it provides. We are very grateful.

Bella is making milk tonight. That means piglets will be coming soon! I've got her separated from her mom, Willa, and the piglets daddy, Gus, in a safe place for her to give birth. I have been doing this for a few years now but I learned a lot from Bella's last birth. Every sow is different and every farrowing is different. Hopefully this time I am properly prepared and everyone will come out safely.

The summer drought was a little rough on my pumpkin patch this year. But it seems to be catching up. I have several pumpkins and one of starting to turn orange. Hopefully we'll have enough for the kids by Halloween!
