Poggio Badiola is a contemporary wine sourced from a high-altitude vineyard in the heart of the Chianti Classico region and produced by the Mazzei family, one of Tuscany’s oldest wine dynasties established in 1435. This wine combines the freshness and elegance of Sangiovese with the soft structure of Merlot with vibrant aromas of wild cherry, violet, and crushed herbs. It’s medium-bodied palate is layered with ripe red berries, silky tannins, and a bright, food-friendly acidity. A touch of spice and minerality lingers on a polished, balanced finish.
