Damic had this wild idea for us to keep back a purebred litter for our fair this year. It was Aiden's 10th year and we said what a fun way to make my mom cry at the show if we had all 4 kids out in the ring at once. Well, we were the ones with tears in our eyes, but that's beside the point. The only purebred litter we had left was this mid-January Spot litter and it was pretty deep. Will we have another purebred litter in the future? Maybe. Will it be under Gracie's name to exhibit? Likely not. (IYKYK 😂) We are very proud of the kids, their hard work with all four pigs this summer, and for the way they put a plan together for when they were out in the ring. When they all came out of the gate so well then walked across the ring and shut em down, that's what got us! Congrats kiddos!!

What a day was had at MLE!

It started last Fall with us wanting a fresh start on our Durocs, to Damic finding the bred he wanted that wasn't on Taylor's buy now list, to Ashley staying up til 1 am to get her bought through the Collectors Edition Sale. She was an excellent mom and had an excellent litter. This guy got sifted out at the Extravaganza, but the Young family knows when Damic says this is a good one, it more than likely is. So they took him up to a great home in Michigan.
