We don't want this anywhere near our reindeer. It was denied earlier this year, and then approved after they appealed. The site is less than a mile away from the ranch.

This is going to be built within a mile of our reindeer! If you live in Thurston County, please sign the petition. There is also a change.org version I will share.

Paper petitions regarding the opposition to the lithium Batterty energy Storage Systems (BESS) in Thurston County are now available for signature at several local locations, including Highway 12 Espresso Weavers Real Estate Rochester, 's Builder Barn, 's Pizza of Rochester County Licensing Animal Clinic, The Rochester Liguor store Market Fresh Grocery and Rusty Spur.

If you're a local business owner interested in hosting a petition or allowing us to collect signatures at your business, please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly or comment below. A friendly reminder: please only sign if you're a Thurston County resident or business, and refrain from signing if you've already participated in the online version.

We’re ready for your Christmas trees! PLEASE don’t toss them, bring them to our ranch!

Sam and Dean LOVE to snack and push them around with their antlers.

No flocked trees, and please make sure there are no metal ornament hooks or tinsel on them.

Drop them off in our driveway, or even toss them over the chain link on the emu/llama/alpaca side.

Welcome to the family, Maisy!

Maisy is an 8 month old Highland Cow (Coo, if you’re Scottish) and she came home to the ranch today!

She was just weaned a month ago, so if any of our neighbors hear what sounds like a cow in distress, it’s Maisy calling for her Mama and she should settle into the routine in a few days. She is hanging out with the boy pacas in the west side pastures. Wave when you drive by and make her feel at home!

Today we are in Vancouver at Dennis’ 7 Dees, on Mill Plain! Santa and Mrs. Claus are here, lots of crafters, live music, and food! there is a $11 cover charge and under 2 is free.

Our first show of the season! We had a fabulous time with Swedish Club and pacificsamisearvi in Seattle today.

The last pic is a better view of Dean’s cut antler. We cut it off yesterday for safety reasons. He’s a bull and he gets cranky sometimes.

Sam is a steer (aka gelding) and is no longer aggressive with his antlers, so he gets to keep his—much to his brother’s dismay.

Hi! I’m out at the corner of old hwy99 and hwy9 behind the tattoo shop again! Here until 3pm! After today, I’m gone for 2 weeks.

I won’t be back until Sunday Sep 21st.

Stop by and load up on some green beans, garlic, shallots, potatoes, zucchini, and beets!

Still have 3lb jars of honey, and alpaca yarn too!
