Bashan Farm

Bashan Farm Welcome to Bashan Farm! My name is Yasmin, I'm a stay at home mom and being a small farmer is my passion. We are located in Rochester, WA.

I raise/sell registered Nigerian Dwarf goats, and usually have a few kids available early summer.

Needing to rehome two Nigerian Dwarf does. Both are daughters of our favorite doe Gypsy.

The chocolate doeling is Hope, she is not registered (she has a small fish teat from her sires side). She is a mini me of Gypsy minus the wattles! She was born February 2022.

The silver doe is BeBe, she is registered and is polled. She was born February 2021. Her sire was our beautiful silver buck Rebel. She is very friendly, loves cuddles and kisses. Is a natural on the milkstand even though she hasn't been bred yet. She is a hard one to part with, so I will be picky about where she goes. I prefer she goes to a home that does milk test/showing.
Gypsy's dam "Pholia Farm RD Godiva" is a 7*M, so preference goes to a home that will take Gypsy with BeBe, put Gypsy on milk test on her next freshening (so she can get her 8*M), and also put BeBe on milk test so she can get her 9*M. Gypsy will be free to whoever will get BeBe her 9*M, and I can even take Gypsy back afterwards if you don't want to keep her.

I can do a package deal on all 3 if interested. PM for more info. We are located right off Exit 88 in Grand Mound.

Needing to cut down a bit more in the goat department, so we're letting go of two beautiful Kinder does. Freya is the moonspotted one and Athena is her bestest friend - they MUST go together! They just had hoof trims, scur removal, and are up to date on CDT. They are nearing 2 yrs old and have never been bred. They are not registered, but both sire/dam are.

We are also needing a home for a Kinder/Nigerian doeling named Audrey. She has wattles! Her dam is our Kinder doe Berry, and sire was our ND Peppercorn, out of our wonderful Gypsy. This girl will be a fantastic milker! Current hoof trim and CDT.

PM for more info if interested!
We're located right off Exit 88 in Grand Mound.

Well the time has come for Gypsy and her two daughters Bebe and Hope, to find new pastures. We're focusing on unregistered dual purpose goats now, and as much as I love Gypsy I know they need a home that does milk test and showing. Gypsy desperately needs to go on milk test, she's 9yrs old this year so it needs to happen. Her 2021 daughter Bebe is a gorgeous polled silver doe, is extremely friendly once she knows you and would look amazing in the show ring. She has never been bred. Hope is Gypsy's mini me, her 2022 doeling. Not as friendly as her dam and half sister, but she calms down once you pick her up.
Gypsy and Hope will only be sold together as they are very attached. I would love it if all three could go together but thats not a requirement. Hope will be sold as pet quality only - we discovered she has a fish teat, so any offspring can't be registered. I was going to breed her anyway when she's older because Gypsy produces a lot of the richest milk out of all my Nigerians and has the best teats ever for handmilking. Bebe has been trained to the milk stand and doesn't mind her teats/udder being messed with.
PM with any questions/price and for registration pictures.

Offering Chance for a reduced price one last time before he goes to the auction beginning of July! I'm willing to sell him at a greatly reduced price to make sure he goes to a good home. He's a sweet boy, is disbudded, registered, cream and white but throws Swiss pattern and moonspots. Asking $2️5️0
Comes from a clean herd, up to date on CDT and treated with Cylence as a preventative.
We greatly reduced our herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats and don't need two bucks.

Checked off a few more things from the To Do list today! 🤗
Got the buck pen cleaned out, the hot wire lowered, and Pixie pig moved in. Our cream buck Chance will be her roomie until we take him to the local auction. Shazam got the buck apron on and moved into the doe pen.
Fixed the doe pen so that Minnie couldn't keep jumping out. 🙄 Lol
Then Nate surprised me by building a swing out saddle stand by our tack up area! 🥰
Also got to ride both ponies today. Mickie is such a good boy - since it was pretty warm we just walked and practiced turning/stopping, but he was happy just standing there with me watching everything going on. Honey on the other hand was quite the energetic old lady! 😆
Finished off the day with the kids trying out their little fire pit they built. 🔥

Well it's been a while since I last posted - Again! 😆 Spring and summer are very busy times here on our little farm, with so many projects to get done, horses to enjoy, and gardens to plant. 🌹🌻🌷
It has been such a relief downsizing the goats, we are actually enjoying having them again. Lol
That being said I SHOULD sell a few more, so I better post them before I change my mind!

One is sweet Stella, a Kinder/ND yearling. She freshened for the first time early this year and did fantastic. She has amazing soft, pliable teats and the cutest round udder. She is the most perfect girl while being handmilked, but is no longer in milk as I've dried up all my does (no milking for me this summer!) She has a very sweet demeanor.
I also decided to rehome Ginger, our keeper doeling from Gwen and Bear. She is solid gold, registered, and a cutie patootie. She is 12 weeks old. Ginger can only go to a home with other baby goats, as I dont want her to be bullied or lonely.
Feel free to PM me if you're interested in either girls!

That's a wrap folks! We have sold every single goat that was for sale! 🥳🥳
It was quite an early morning driving up to Enumclaw with Cynthia to take all the extras to the auction, but thankfully traffic was smooth sailing both there and back. Also we dropped off Snobby, Baby and Dante to their new home not that far from the auction - a last minute sell/purchase decision that I am very thankful for!
After dropping them off we took Cynthia's goats to the auction. Check in was quick, everyone got tagged and papers exchanged. We made good time so we browsed the aisles (not much livestock this weekend) and quietly viewed the wild mustangs that were brought in this week, saved from the slaughter trucks to hopefully find good homes. Lots of yearlings, a handful of stallions and a couple mamas with little babies. Tough to see, but such is the circle of life, as painful as it is. ❤
Now that goat sales are done, I'm hoping I can rest for a bit before tackling the garden! Phew! 😓

SO many goats left for their new homes this past week, it seems surreal, and a little empty. 😞 But I know it's the best choice for us right now, so I'm at peace with it. Plus most that were for sale found AMAZING homes, and for that I couldn't be more thankful!🥰 Cammie went back to her breeder, Dixie, last Saturday. Hailey and Black went back to Hailey's breeder, my sweet friend Rachael, on Tuesday. Gwen and little Scout went to my newest friend Caitlyn right down the road yesterday. Joy, Olaf, and Ana got picked up today by an awesome friend, Bernetia, and she will be coming back for Nova tomorrow.
Sadly Snobby, Baby, Dante and Oreo will be available at the auction this Saturday, but I'm hopeful they will find good homes. 😊

Well we managed to whittle down the goat herd to 10 does, but decided that is still too many.

So Joy is now available - registered dry yearling, she is polled! Both granddams are superb milkers, Gypsy and Hailey. Her dam is Emmy's doe Mary. Joy was the baby that had the very eventful entrance into this world last year. She is a special one, so we won't be taking her to the auction this Saturday - she will stay here until she sells. She is used to her teats being messed with and is very sweet.
(Picture was taken last year, can send new pics upon request)

EDIT: Lilly and Patrick have found an awesome home! Only ones left are Snobby, Baby, PeeWee and Dante! Whoever doesn't sell will be available at the Enumclaw Auction on April 2nd - buyers will only get the registration papers if reserve price is met!

Only 1 week left to snag a nice doe, buck or baby goat before we take the remaining available goats to the Enumclaw Auction! We have two does (one dry, one in milk), a really cute buck, and only 1 baby looking for new homes. They would make a great starter herd if that's what you're looking for. Can do a discount on multiples!
