I’ve seen this popping up from time to time on Facebook. It’s misleading. While yes cattle have been vaccinated for Bovine rotavirus Coronavirus for years this particular virus causes diarrhea in small calves. Not respiratory infections. The name similarity comes from the crown like projections on the surface of the virus. Corona is Latin for crown or halo.
