The opening of our third Farmers Market Season is tonight for the The Village Agricultural Cooperative. We are at the History Center of Olmsted County from 4 - 7 pm every Tuesday!

Please consider supporting our organization this season through a tax-deductible donation to our 501(c)3 nonprofit business. And if you can't donate? Share our posts!! Tell a friend about our market! Come to our market, enjoy the music, and support our vendors. I'd love to see you there, friends!

Since co-founding this organization in 2019, it has been a true labor of love to lift this organization toward what is has become today. If you are passionate about supporting a local nonprofit that is increasing food security, food sovereignty, and generating income for historically marginalized groups, please show us your support this season.

Our annual fundraiser, FARM Fest, is on July 13th from 12 - 4 pm. We hope to see you there. More information can be found on our website at RochVillage.org. Thank you for considering supporting us this season.

Little chicken babies hanging out in the cool grass. Almost two months old.

Welcome Chae, Sparky, and Banana to our farm! These three little cuties are making use of the old brooder house, where the Nigon family raised baby chicks for many decades. While we are not aiming for 300 laying hens like back in the day, we will be purchasing a few more grown layers and are excited to soon have fresh eggs to feed these growing boys and hopefully sell some at the The Village Agricultural Cooperative Farmer's Market at the History Center later this summer.

Cooking Demo tonight! Good eats and fresh local food.

We're joining a new farmer's market!

In 2019, I helped to found The Village Agricultural Cooperative and we have grown to support 200 farmers on 11 acres of urban farmland here in Rochester.

Tuesdays, 4-7 pm, at the History Center of Olmsted County, our farmers will sell locally grown food. Please share the news and come out to support your local farmers!

I'll have early summer beans, yellow summer squash, collards and kale, fresh herbs, rhubarb, kohlrabi and more to sell. We hope to see you there!
