Peter Kang is the first recipient of the many Cacao seedlings that CacaoCoffee&Tea have grown from seeds. These seeds were saved from a Cacao fruit we brought to Happy Earth Tea. These are Trinitario varieties from Puerto Rico. Just like Camelia Sinensis, Theobroma Cacao requires caring and good environment. Congratulations to the new Cacao parent.

ROC NY growing theobroma cacao update. About 40 seedlings in various stages. Others are soon to be replanted in bigger pots. Thank you Kuya Osme Cliff Patrick Tajo of Apoy Benit’s Farm, Calbayog, Samar Philippines and Chocs ‘N Boxes. Next step Month 3.
