Head on over to the non-profit, Rochester Preschool, located in the St. Marks lower level. They are hosting an adopt-a-pet (stuffies) to raise money for things such as sponsoring/scholarship for kiddos who can otherwise not have the opportunity for preschool. Teacher Nina would love to have you support! Open til 6p.m.

Hi everyone!

I have not been here to post since I started school. That was 11 weeks ago! I took my finals yesterday--aced every single one, thank you very much. So now, I am on track for a Bachelor's in behavioral health. I have a 3.8 G.P.A. (damn that health class.) And I am 9 months sober! 🥳 🎉 🪅 🎊

I am really digging my new path. I miss baking sometimes and have an occasional urge to decorate sugar cookies, tho. I do miss all of you, hearing from you, and talking to you during pickups. Scott misses that, too. You know him, Mr. Social Butterfly!

Here's the thing, tho. I am still a licensed cottage law bakery and I wanna do something with that. So, this weekend you can come see me and Scott at Christmas Country Chicks LLC ! This is an event I don't want to give up! The vibe, the energy, the people! They're amazing! And this weekend it's all about Christmas! We will be there to add to the festivities!

PLEASE come see us! Friday 10a.m.-6p.m. and/or Saturday 10a.m.-4p.m. at the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds. Bring a couple of shopping bags!

TOMORROW is Country Chicks at the SWW Fairgrounds in Chehalis off of Gold street. 🐥

I am so excited to share with you my oldies, but goodies. The cookie flavors that made me known. The cookie flavors that people say, this tastes just like my Grandmother's. The cookie flavors that transport you back to after school and your mom was THAT mom awaiting your arrival with fresh baked cookies. Those flavors. Line up is:

*Gooey Chocolate Chip
*Peanut Butter rolled in sanding sugar
Pumpkin Snickerdoodle made with browned butter and dark brown sugar
*Black Bottom Muffins
*Carrot Cake
*Edible Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
*Cinnamon Rolls!

On Saturday, I am adding
*Edible Brownie Batter
*Brown Butter & Cinnamon Apple Oatmeal
*More cinnamon rolls

My house smells amazing, I did my homework this week already, I'm going to Country Chicks AND guess what will be there this year!

Get the girls together because Tiny Tats by Kat will be there to make a permanent mark on your experience. Kat will be there to adorn you with tiny tattoos and she has SEVERAL to choose from! I am goi g to get the little chick so that I can always remember Country Chicks LLC!

It is first come first serve. Kat tries to stagger the sign-ups bc it gets full, quick.

Her tattoos range from $65-95. You pick from a full binder. No customs.

Most tattoos take about 10-20 mins depending on size and detail. You can check Kat out on Instragram at tinytats.bykat.

**NEWS FLASH** 📰

It's been a hot minute. How are you all? How has your summer been? ☀️

So. I've got news. Two topics here. They are both big deals, so listen up! 👂

I am not posting a joke--I am serious. 🤔

After a lot of prayers, thoughts, considerations, and any other synonyms that comply with these words. . . I am closing the bakery. 🎂 🍪 Side note, if you are a long time repeat customer, I will try and accomodate you. (Stormie, I have you on my mind with that.) 🦕

I've decided not because I'm burned out--I am not--but bc I am going back to school! It's time to make changes, I do this about every ten years and coincidentally, I have been a licensed bakery for 10 years. I love, love, love going to school. If I could make being a student a career, I'd jump on that! This time, I am going back to school for the SUDP Program. This stands for substance use disorder professional. My occupation would be counseling a recovering addict thru their recovery by planning an individuals recovery, facilitating group sessions, one on one, communicating progress to psychiatrists and therapists. . . Stuff I've now got life experience with. I plan on rolling that A.A. to the Bachelor's degree for Behavioral Health. An actual therapist!

Meanwhile, I will also be volunteering at Peer Olympia to be a recovery coach for others in their sobriety journey.

With these things happening, plus still the farm life. . . I just don't have time for a bakery.

I will be liquidating a lot of my bakery items, so if you've got a need for something, lemme know.

COUNTRY CHICKS is coming a week from this Friday on Friday, September 26th, and Saturday September 27th, at the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds. I haven't baked in a month, so this is gonna be fun! And I can't wait to see you all! I will be posting a menu in a few days, so sit tight!
