Sippican River Alpaca Farm We are a small alpaca farm located in the beautiful town of Rochester, Massachusetts. Owned and operated by Bronie and Cheryl Rozenas.

Hours of operation by appointment unless posted. Thank you for visiting our website. Owned and operated by Bronie, Cheryl, Tiffany, and Hillary Rozenas. Many long hours are given to make sure our alpacas have the best of love and care. The alpacas are sheared once a year in May. We then carefully skirt the fiber. We bring some of the skirted fiber to a local mill where it is processed and made int

o wonderful products which are all made in the USA. The rest of the skirted fiber is washed and carded and made into batts or roving right here on our farm. Needle felted items are then made from the batts. Some of the yarn that we use for our homemade specialty items is handspun here and then washed again before being knit into products. For some homemade items mill yarn is used.

What a great first day of reopening the farm store to the public since the July storm! Thank you to everyone who came out to the farm today. Bronie and I are so grateful for your continued support and loyalty. When we decided back in 2009 to start this Alpaca adventure we had no idea how this journey would go. Every morning when we wake up and shuffle across the floor and hooble to the barn we say to each other, why are we doing this?
Well, first reason is because all our 4 legged family needs to be taken care of first.
And the second reason is because of all of you. We have met so many wonderful people because of this crazy journey. You have helped feed our animals and support our little farm over the many years and that is the answer to our WHY?

We are back up and running after having the barn roof issue from the mini burst this past July. We will have the FARM STORE OPEN with WARM ALPACA PRODUCTS this weekend, Sat and Sun 11/15 and 11/16 from 11-3. You're welcome to come by and say hi to the Alpacas and check out the store. If you can not make it during these times just let us know and we can open by appointment. We are located at 32 Bates Rd Rochester.
