I mean how young is too young to move turkeys? 3.5weeks? She slept through the whole thing.

Thanksgiving 🦃 is moving outside early. It is just way 🥵 to keep them in the brooder coop any longer. They are fully feathered and its virgin ground with a ba-jillion grasshoppers.

That grain bin way out in the back of the last picture on the CRP is their destination in a month. They will be ready after Oct 9th.

Many exciting things this past week and more to come!

🍼 Maternity “break” from Markets has officially begun. We welcomed Johanna this past weekend and she been completely wonderful.

🦃 Last week we got our thanksgiving turkeys for this fall! They will be ready in October.

🐾 If you need any pet treats over the next few weeks, please let me know. I am happy to ship for free to your home as we work on building partnerships with small shops.

🦆 🥚 I don’t plan to ship any duck meat or eggs over the next few weeks. If you would like duck eggs, please let me know and I can see if we can accommodate. Our goal is to be back to the market beginning of August if not sooner.

This is Stan. Stan is a really good boy and good service dog, except when they get to my tent then its like all his self control is out the window for treats 😂 He’s got the best nose I’ve ever seen, better then even Buddy’s who still is finding deer legs years later that were buried. Gotta be a lab thing.

We are loaded with eggs and bringing over 20 dozen duck eggs tomorrow to 730-Noon.

Grab some to make a rich quiche, amazing baked custard or any other baked goods for Mother Day brunch!

I know I’m making a cardamom custard pie for Sunday 😊

The 🥚 🥚 are finally coming in! We have our own “rainbow” eggs that are white, blue/green and grey/black. I mean its not as pretty as chicken but its the best ducks can do 😅 just wish they would stop laying in the mud 🙄

Will have eggs at the up coming April and

The big geese ones though on top will be hitting the incubator though.

Welcome to Elpis Farms!

To keep it simple the RedC Farms brand is becoming Elpis Farms. Why the rebrand? We are growing, maturing and following the call with a new mission.

While our main focus is going to be on duck meat products, we still promise to have some chicken and turkey products available for our customers. We are just flipping production to be more duck focused then chicken focus in the short term. Long term goal is to bring chicken production back up as well.

I think you all know that I love ducks, like they are just my favorite of all time, so this probably shouldn't come as a surprise 😅

This is going to be a work in progress over this coming 2026 season, but please stick with us! There is so many exciting things we want to accomplish and have you be apart of.
