All girly pups have new homes. Four boys left... I have a male from the last litter. At 8 months old, his strawberry blonde self weighed in at 86 lbs. Best dog I have ever loved.

An honest note about our flock- they will need to be de-liced. We normally have better control over lice and mites. But as I said in my first announcement, my career has taken me off the farm. That is the sole reason we are selling off part of our flock. We are able to keep up with basic needs, barely. Bath day on the farm has not even happened once this season. The coops usually are pressure washed and sprayed down with permethyrin. Neither has happened this season, whereas it should have been done twice by this time of the year. I feel awful about it. I just can't catch up.

Chicks are out of the brooder and into our new Chicken Tractor. $7 a chick. Come and get ya some!!!!

We have gone through some tough changes this year. I changed jobs, and am now working a Monday through Friday position with Hospice and Palliative Care- Palmetto Region. I have found my calling, but my time on our homestead has been greatly reduced.

I have been refusing to admit the obvious. I can't keep up with the lil farm like I think my animals deserve. So, I am putting this out there for our customers. I am thinking of selling 2 of my coops, some of our breeds of chickens, and our Sportsman Cabinet incubator and Hatcher. I have not settled on prices, but I will post it here and give you the chance before I go public with it.

This is a very hard decision. I do not want to do this, but our animals and our equipment deserve to be with folks that can use and enjoy them.
