Mani pedi days 💅🐑✨

We bought five more ewes (female sheep) a few weeks back and just gave them what we believe may have been their first ever nail clipping.

First open garden of 2026!

Friday 3-6 pm and Saturday 9-12 during The Farm Store - Rock Hill hours🥕🍅🥔

Please remember that the roadside garden is our CO-OP garden; there are multiple farm businesses who grow here besides ours, as well as families with community garden spaces. Feel free to have a look around, and remember to remain in walkways & respect the growers by not picking anything!

Stocking lots of local places this week!

First big drop is The Farm Store - Rock Hill 🙌🏼❤️

- Huge hauls of green beans
- Super sweet baby carrots - YUM
- Rainbow eggs
- Grass fed lamb meat (labels say mutton. Long story short, expect a lamb taste)
- Hefty mint and herb bunches for cooking, drink making, etc. We recently juiced lots of mint and made watermelon mint popsicles🤤
- Berry season jam restocks!
- & a few other things 🙂

June will likely be the last full month to get kale and Swiss chard from us until fall!

Maybe you’ve heard… another huge plot of land is being developed in Rock Hill. To build 600 new houses! Located right next to one of the few large remaining natural spots in town (you’ve seen the rolling hills of cattle off of Mount Gallant). This is just a few minutes drive from our own farm, which we continue to fight for every day. As a land steward and someone who believes we were put on this earth to care for Creation, this kind of news breaks my heart.

All of that ranting to say, I’m working on an incredible local farm book and partnering with local farms and land protectors to do so. It’s a beautiful heirloom photography book that’s not a directory of local farms but a glimpse into the lives of a number of local land stewards. It also features several photography pages highlighting the natural beauty of this area. The intention is to help folks connect to this place and its people and better understand where their food comes from.

If you have a special spot you recommend that I capture, steward your land in your own way, or have a York County area farm, please reach out. There are hundreds and hundreds of us out here caring for the land and our community and keeping this place alive and thriving 🦋❤️

Sorry for the blur - farm campers were running to get your produce to The Farm Store - Rock Hill today! ☀️

We had such an amazing group of campers this year. They did so much learning and farming in a few short days - you’d be shocked!

They harvested produce of all kinds, planted raspberry plants, harvested flowers, flower pounded cards and bandanas, cuddled bunnies, collected eggs, took care of baby chicks, moved the sheep to new pasture, sowed veggie seeds, baked sourdough from scratch, pickled carrots, and became great friends and farmers. And more😅

Days were jam packed, so we ended camp with a little pool party today 🏊‍♀️

Summer campers got to harvest & pickle carrots this week at farm camp! Thankfully they left y’all enough carrots to enjoy ☀️🥕

Campers are stocking The Farm Store - Rock Hill with them tomorrow along with kale, Swiss chard, lettuce, snap peas, green beans, raspberries, radishes, mint, and more.
