The Blues and Jazz Festival Kickoff Concert presented by the Arts Council of York County will take place on Saturday September 27, 2025 | 2pm - 6pm at 641 Crawford Road (formerly FARMacy Community Farmstop) Rock Hill, SC 29730. The event is FREE!! Great music and community gathering. Food trucks, artist, and makers vending opportunity still available. Please help spread the word!

Victory Gardens Is Moving — And We Need Your Help! 🌱
After 3 powerful years growing food, youth, and hope at Emmett Scott and the Crawford Road area, the Community Garden is relocating to its new home at Landon Lane Homestead and Retreat!

We need all hands on deck by September 1, 2025!
As one chapter closes, a new one begins—and we’re inviting YOU to help us carry the mission forward.

Thank you to the City of Rock Hill Parks, Recreation & Tourism for generously supporting this space at Emmett Scott. Your partnership helped seed real change in our community.

Now it’s time to move—and we can’t do it without you.

Volunteer Tasks Include:
✔️ Cleaning out garden beds
✔️ Trash and debris removal
✔️ Bush/tree removal
✔️ Transporting 25 raised garden beds
✔️ Disassembling and moving our greenhouse
✔️ Relocating an 8'x40' shipping container

🏗️ Calling All Construction Professionals!
We need skilled help to safely disassemble and transport our greenhouse. If you're a contractor, construction crew, or skilled volunteer—your expertise is vital and deeply appreciated.

There’s no better way to celebrate the power of stories than with books that inspire us to dig in—literally! 🌻 Whether you're a seasoned green thumb or just planting your first seed, gardening books are a wonderful way to connect with the earth and each other.
