Over the course of 4 years we’ve made a lot IPAs. We’ve had some good ones, some bad ones, but this is the first one that Cory and I agree that is truly to style. A generous amount of citra and galaxy hops in the whirlpool and dry hop give this beer some great orange, tangerine, and pineapple notes that are far and away more pronounced that anything we’ve done before. Here’s to more great IPAs coming out in the future.

New IPA on tap. All citra hops on the hot side and then dry hopped with an experimental New Zealand Hop: NZH-107.

It’s not every day you max out your boil kettle to make 4 different sours. Be on the lookout for these in a few months.

Well with everything going on it was time to start getting some provisions ready for the quarantine. Good thing we have this nice thick stout to get us through it.

Can’t wait to see everyone today at WAKE Brewing for Festiv-ale at 2! We have four very light beers that will be great for this hot day! Not the least of which is our first kettle sour: Berry White. A golden sour ale with raspberry added!

Hey everyone! With all the excitement around what we are doing we are taking this as an opportunity to revitalize this page. Starting out will be changing the official name to something more simple and straightforward. The new name will be Cory and Colin Homebrewing! Homebrew competition went really well over the weekend! We placed in the top two out of 27 teams from all over the Midwest to move on to the second round.

It seems more and more the hobby of brewing your own beer from home is a growing trend that is only going to get bigger in the years to come.
