The most satisfying part of the process. 😍

Just me, a piping bag, and 15 cookies getting their first layer of icing. There’s something about watching all those sections fill in perfectly that never gets old.

Now the real decorating fun begins! 🍪✨

8.5 dozen cookies rolled, cut, and baked. ✔️

Now it’s time to switch gears and decorate the 3 dozen that are due tomorrow. Good thing coffee exists. ☕️🍪

Been a little MIA lately… just busy taking care of life and enjoying the summer with my family. ❤️

But today it’s back to the kitchen.

I’ve got 8.5 dozen cookies to bake, with 3 dozen due tomorrow 😳 Power went out this morning so I’m praying there are no more interruptions.

Sometimes running a cookie business looks less like perfectly styled content and more like juggling mom life, deadlines, and caffeine. ☕🍪

Now excuse me while I turn this dough into cookies. 😃

There’s just something so satisfying about watching a tray come together one cookie at a time. 🍪

A little behind-the-scenes of how these baseball details get added ⚾

I love the handmade nature of decorated cookies and actually prefer to freehand whenever I can. Tiny variations from cookie to cookie are part of what make them unique.

But for lettering, detailed designs, and anything that needs to be precise, I use my projector. It’s just one of the tools that helps me bring cookie ideas to life.

Hand painting gold details on this duck call cookie ✨

It’s a slow process when there’s multiple to do, but I love how much depth it adds to the final piece.

And if you make it to the end… you’ll hear the cutest little voice in the background reacting to what’s on my rack: “oh what, circle cookies?” 🥹🍪

✌🏾 Peace out to the last day of school!

Ever since TJ started preschool mid-year on April 20th, I’ve shared from time to time what I accomplished in my kitchen while he was at school. So it only seemed fitting to share a photo of the little guy himself on his last day of preschool.

He started early for his age, so we still have two more years of preschool before kindergarten—and this mama’s heart is very happy about that. ❤️

A special shout-out to his teachers, Ms. Jen and Ms. H, for helping TJ acclimate to school, making him feel comfortable, and caring for him so well. Watching him grow in confidence over these past few months has been such a joy.

Thank you both for everything you’ve done for him. We’re so grateful, and we’re excited that he’ll be in your class again next year!
