Shtayburne Farm is a family-owned dairy farm with over four generations of experience in the dairy farming. We grow the crops, milk the cows and process and package the cheese. Our farmstead cheeses are made in small batches. Attention is given to every detail of our handcrafted rich cheeses. Our aged cheddar are then hand waxed. We are excited to be a part of the Finger Lakes Cheese Trail.

We were honored to again win first place with our Vanilla Ice Cream at our State Fair!

Our Roasted Garlic Quark Cheese won us a blue ribbon as well and our Pimento Quark Cheese got an award of excellence.

It's exciting to see our hard work rewarded. We couldn't do it without our whole team and we are so thankful for each one.

It's been awhile since I've been on here. Our summer has been full and busy with good things.

You all have kept us so busy in the store that I haven't had much time for social media which is a good problem. We so appreciate all the support.

I wanted to be present for the children as much as possible while they are out of school. It's hard to belive that summer is over and next week school starts again.

Small summer recap in pictures
1. Beautiful rainbow - we have had a good growing year with with lots of rain. So thankful for this as the last few years have been dry.

2. Picking tea out of the road ditch for delicious cold meadow tea

3. Fireworks

4. We started building a new larger barn to house our cows. It's coming along and trusses will be set next week.

5. Last weekend we spent camping in the adirondacks. It's always so refreshing to just get away for a bit to the peaceful woods and lakes. It felt like a really nice ending to our summer.

Sunday, I made the most delicious bread twists and the best part is that they were high protein.

has the best high protein bread recipe. It tastes delicious and has a great flexible texture just like "real" bread.

I will share her recipe in my stories so you can use it too.

I used quark in place of the cottage cheese and we made a cinnamon sugar version as well as a garlic butter parmesan version. Both were great.

Highly recommend.

They are great if you love to bake with quark. I like to keep one in the fridge at all time.

Quark has a similiar nitrition profile to cottage cheese and you can use in interchangeably with any high protein recipe.

It has 13 grams of protein per serving!

Get ready to start baking.

German cheesecakes are great! So fluffy and much lighter than the cream cheese version.

We handpack every pint at our shop.

With our flavored kinds we swirl the flavprs over the ice cream, scoop off a layer, swirl again and repeat.

It's a bit warm but it we are surviving with swimming, popsicles and lots of drinks.

Note: change to hours on July 4th

We plan to close a few hours earlier than usual on the 4th. I know there will some fun parties and fireworks to enjoy.

Our cheese ends are a by product of our cutting process.

We have 40 lb blocks of cheese that are sent through a cutter and that results in cheese that is not an 8 oz block.

There's no way we can use it all ourselves, so we pass it on to you.

Most packages are around 3/4th a lb and are just $5 a piece.

If your not local, you can also purchase online.

It's a great way to get quality cheese for less. 👍🏻

A taste of Europe right here in the Finger Lakes!

Quark is a traditional European cheese not easy to find here in the States.

It's smooth, buttery and absolutely delicous. The best part is that it's good for you too.

It has 13 grams if protein per serving, so if your trying to get your protein in this can be a welcome break from cottage cheese ;)

It has the luxurious smoothness of cream cheese without the calories.

You can come by the store to grab some or if you aren't close by you can order online.
