Shtayburne Farm is a family-owned dairy farm with over four generations of experience in the dairy farming. We grow the crops, milk the cows and process and package the cheese. Our farmstead cheeses are made in small batches. Attention is given to every detail of our handcrafted rich cheeses. Our aged cheddar are then hand waxed. We are excited to be a part of the Finger Lakes Cheese Trail.

Now you can get up close and personal with the cows. We made a little pasture walk for you to enjoy!

If you come, just walk down through the orchard and you will find it on the farm side of the grape vines.

It's safe for children and pets as the wires are not electric.

There are many parks in the area. Our favorites are Watkins Glen State Park and Robert Treman State Park.

Watkins has lots of water falls and Robert Treman is very deep and awe inspiring.

Our Saturday morning tradition. Protein waffles! Delicious, easy and filling.

As a farming family, we eat a substantial breakfast every morning and we eat together.

Saturday mornings are a bit different as we all wake up at different times.

I make a batch of this waffles mixture and then everyone can make themselves a waffle whenever they are ready to eat. It's made Saturday mornings so much easier.

Recipe
1 cup Quark
3 lg eggs
3/4 cup of all purpose flour
1/2 cup Almond flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup melted butter

Add all ingredients to a blender or mixture and blend until smooth and then cook in a waffle maker.

Note: The milk is used to thin the batter, so I add a bit at a time until I get the consistency I want. You may need a bit more or less than the recipe says.

We plan to be at the lilac festival next week. Our booth will be in the farmers market section of the festival and we plan to be there Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
