God speaks to us through nature. John 15:1-11.

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. 5 I am the vine; you are the branches. MEET THE LAVENDER FARMS OF THE 2026 MICHIGAN LAVENDER FESTIVAL!

As we continue to tell you about all of the Michigan Lavender Farms and Farmers you will meet at the Festival this year, lets meet todays farmers! Make sure to visit them all, get some lavender and plan your Farm visit!!

Today, let us tell you about our friends at Great Lakes Lavender Farm, a family-owned lavender farm in Rockford, Michigan, founded by Sierra and Andrew in 2023. The farm grew out of Sierra’s hobby lavender garden that started in Traverse City back in 2017 and expanded into a larger eco-friendly farm and small business.

They are a FAVORITE at local fairs and festivals with their stunning display and expansive offering of plants, bundles and handmade products made right from their farm!

Some highlights about the farm:
• They grow thousands of lavender plants and multiple lavender varieties.
• The farm specializes in:
• lavender plants and plugs
• essential oils
• bath and body products
• culinary lavender items
• handmade gifts and home products
• They also host:
• seasonal U-pick lavender
• workshops and classes
• photo sessions
• local pickup and special events.

The farm is located at:

A few important things to know before visiting:
• Visits are generally by appointment or booking through their website
• Lavender bloom season is usually late June through early September
• U-pick lavender is typically available during July and August.
