YOU CAN GET CLARA COOKIES!!! After volunteering for the past 2 years at Mel Trotter Ministries, the large homeless shelter in Grand Rapids, I have found a new way to partner with them. Families leave Mel Trotter after working on getting housing for months or up to a year, but don't have furniture when they get the keys to their new home. We have a storage unit where we collect basic used furniture donations, but we need to purchase mattresses at wholesale. So I'm starting a mattress fund!!! A twin mattress for a child is only $100 at wholesale, so every $50 is half a child's mattress. For the whole month of July, everyone who donates $50 will receive a dozen Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip CLARA COOKIES!! ( or another flavor at your request).
