Peonies, ranunculus, anemone, poppies - it’s a glorious June moment happening here.
We’ve got farmers bunches and mixed bouquets, and special order bouquets available through our web shop.

We’ve been farming on this land since 2020, so our sixth Spring with this ever evolving soil, these weeds, the birds, the pond, the mountain. Our sixth time watching and waiting, and joyously welcoming the peepers and the longer days.
I feel myself coming back home in a big way, and I’m so grateful to this little plot of land for holding us through all that has been the last 6 years.
We love this little world we’ve been called to create. Thank you for being a part of it with us.
Now we celebrate being alive with FLOWERS. And also, go vote 😘

Thank you thank you thank you for the wonderful Mothers Day weekend. Every year, it’s so joyful to get to serve up flowers for you and your people. A reminder that flowers just make people happy. Simple as that.

Quick shout out to our FRIENDS and fam - there would be no farms without friends. I’m sure of it. We were fed, hugged, brought milk so I could have my morning latte 😭, and our children were within arms distance of someone who loved them all weekend long. The best Mother’s Day, to me, is feeling so unbelievably held and cared for by our people. I also got to take a bath, and that was awesome. It did end up with the two littles in there also, and that was the best, too.
I still shake myself, in awe that I’m their MOM. It’s messy and feral and tender and (occasionally) peaceful and joyful and sacred. Absolutely sacred.

After the big weekend we took a day to ‘rest.’ Play in our fave stream and eat French fries. Now onward we march, getting into the field!

So thank you for choosing us, for braving our driveway, and for being so kind. What a lovely little pocket of the world we have here

💚

QUESTION : So what’s your fave - a single color or multi color bunch?! We do lots of mixed bunches so folks can buy just one but get to experience multiple varieties. But I know many of you like single varieties instead so let’s put this to rest and learn what you want!
Let me know in the comments plssssss

Making up lots of beauties for a busy weekend!

And stocked up on cold hardy seedlings ☀️ These guys are hardened off and will tolerate a light frost - if the forecast is saying 30 or below for the night we’d recommend giving them a light cover (like an upside down bucket) to give them a little extra protection.

Flower stand is open for the rest of the week and weekend!
Fancy tulips!

Starting next week we will tulips as well as some cold hardy plants for your gardens (ranunculus, anemone, spinach, fancy snapdragons, etc)

It’s a little hectic over here, it’s brutal having sick kids. And Gus is so seriously excited about life it is really hard to slow him down. This morning we discovered that the Berenstain Bears has a show on PBS though so that was a big help 😂

On the farm front, everything is going really well and we’re having fun. The seedlings are looking fantastic and we are thrilled to have flowers at the stand again!

We are hiring! Looking for two very part time folks (2 -3 days per week, short 4-6 hour shifts) to come and work with us.

Who we are looking for: Mature, gritty, kind, self starting big hearted badass who is flexible and forgiving. Excellent situational awareness, always tries their best, willingness to practice a beginners mindset while also sharing their learned experience. Sense of humor and self awareness are a must. Can find a good time in a ‘bad’ time, lol. Cherishes the feeling of a hard days work. And the post work ice cream/beer/NA beer.
Who we are : Two imperfect humans that are very committed to our growth as leaders, and take seriously the well being of anyone who comes into our little farm world. 50% of the time we are very organized, working towards 75%. This is not a stressful farm, we keep things cool and simple but we also hustle, hard. We run a production farm, so straightforward systems and working smarter not harder. Our three year old and 4 month old are #1, and they keep things exciting, messy and unpredictable.

And yes, we grow flowers.

If you’d like to be considered, check out the link below. Spoiler alert - following the directions to apply are the first step of the interview lol

Hank is here! We’ve been cuddled together for a few weeks now, in a plush nest of beloved friends and Aunties.
Gus is the dreamiest big brother - so kind, loving, attentive and just overjoyed to have his baby brother here.
Beyond thankful for a perfect, healthy baby and the community that’s got our back.
Feeling like the luckiest mama of all time.
And SO grateful for the amazing midwives, nurses, and our doula .mothers for supporting us as we navigate this emotional and physical process of growing and welcoming a new human. What a miracle.
This last year has been so beautiful and so painful, it’s gently (and not so gently) expanded my capacity beyond what I thought possible. Grief and growth have no timeline, apparently :)
So now we huddle in and rest for the Winter, and come back with armloads of Spring flowers and seedlings for you soon.
Mwah.

Thank you all for sharing another season of flowers with us - this one came with some BIG big challenges, and big lessons, but we learned a lot and feel more resilient and prepared for the season ahead. It was our toughest growing season yet, with multiple big crop hiccups due to the weather - which is so tough and also a fantastic learning experience for how to adjust crop plans and growing practices to make our production less susceptible to these constant unknowns.

Next season we are very excited for our Spring seedling sale (will send out a Winter newsletter with varieties of veg, herbs and flowers.)
We have also added farm stand credit to the line up (our CSA replacement.)
And we are adding farmers choice bulk buckets back in August and September!
Both the farm stand credit and bulk buckets are available through our web shop, with lots more info on our website. Credit will be available for purchase through early Dec, and buckets until sold out.

Thank you to this beautiful community for all of your support! Despite the challenges and (wonderful) unknowns of how this will all work with TWO little ones next season, Chris and I are feeling incredibly blessed to get to farm for you all.

📸 : the incredibly talented and wonderful as per usual 😉
