Good Tern Co-op Support local farmers! Local, organic, food market. Cooperatively owned by the community since 1980. We are a member-owned community food co-op and cafe.

We specialize in local, organic, dietary sensitive foods and products at affordable prices. All are welcome to shop with us. Becoming a member means you become an owner of the store, with equal voting rights over leadership and decisions. We offer member working discounts and other benefits.

Please note:
$50 deposit is required for turkeys, $25 is deposit required for turkey breasts at the time of order. Sorry, no discounts apply to turkey items as we are offering the lowest price possible.
Turkeys are available at Good Tern Co-op through pre-order ONLY. We will not have turkeys available for sale on our shelves.

We're looking forward to having The Cat's Pajamas play some tunes at our Community Bash on October 10th from 2 - 5 pm! 🎸 🎤 🎶 🎵

"Cat's Pajamas is a local group of friends who have fun playing and sharing music. We play acoustic tunes from the blues, Appalachian swing tradition (in other words-eclectic), with a leaning toward vocal harmony, with several original tunes, some old time Maine songs, and humorous ones, too. We are Joanna Pinkham on guitar, recorder, and vocals; Patty King on vocals and bowed psaltery; Ray Montana on bass and vocals, and Peter Proeller on banjo and...vocals."

Turkey Pre-Orders are now open!
We have an organic option available from Mary’s Turkeys in California, and a local option available from Greaney’s Turkey Farm in Mercer, Maine.
Call 207-594-8822 to place an order. The deadline to order is Thursday, October 29th.
Pre-orders require a $50 deposit for turkeys and a $25 deposit for breasts. No discounts available as we are already offering them at the lowest retail price possible. Thank you for your understanding.
We have a limited number of organic birds and breasts, so it is first come first serve.
Whole turkeys are $5.19/lb, breasts are $8.99/lb.
