Well, as the saying goes, sometimes your the windshield and sometimes your the bug! This weekend we were the bug! We had a blast up at the SUTHERLIN THROWDOWN in Oregon this weekend. We thought we had a solid cook, but just managed a 6th place call in chicken thanks to Sarah Paris taken the reins with chicken. We finished 12th in ribs, 19th in brisket and 20th in pork. I thought our pork was our best turn in, but thats comp bbq! Thanks to Melanie from BARBCUDABBQ for organizing the potluck on Friday it was amazing! We happened to forget our aluminum foil at home so special thanks goes to Steve and Pam Steve Biggs for coming in clutch and saving us. Thank you to Terry and Derreck and all the staff at SUTHERLIN THROWDOWN for putting on a top notch event! Congrats to Brisket the Bulldawg on the RGC and Dylan Zimmerman on their 1st GC, great cook guys! Not sure where we are cooking next but hope to see you all soon!!
