Its been several years since my soap making journey began. With each batch made there is a lesson learned. The quality of the product continues to get better. I continue to use ingredients that I feel should be included in each bar. Goats milk (of course), olive oil and coconut oil. If any coloring is used then only natural colorants are used such as madder root, and red clay. No fancy patterns or swirls or designs- just a large bar of soap that produces a wonderful lather with excellent cleaning properties. If I sell soap locally for personal use I encourage customers to buy without packaging. This option at a reduced price is available to others as well if requested. If sold for gifts then the packaging we use enhances the appeal of the product. A beautiful bag with a well designed and colorful label. A great gift at a good price. With the holiday season approaching I am now building my inventories- making soap at least several times a week. The varieties that we will have available will include fir, citrus, eucalyptus, unscented, peppermint and lavender. Checkout our website at harmonylanefarm.com for more information about our farm in Midcoast Maine and to find the link to our shop.

This is Prancer. A wonderful girl with an engaging disposition and a great milker. A little timid before she gave birth to her first offspring but now one of the most friendly in the herd.

Each day I hand milk our goats collecting milk that will be used for our soaps. We would like you to meet each of these registered Nigerian Goats. Each goat is very special to us and each has a very different personality.

This is Olive one of our "Dalmatian" goats (Andrea is in love with Damatians)

Hard to believe but it's time for us to start thinking about the holidays. What many don't realize is that it takes several months for soap to cure properly . During this time the bars gradually harden and the pH decreases.

It's been almost two years now that we have been using milk from our Nigerian Dwarf goats to make our soaps. We continue to strive to make the highest quality products from only natural Ingredients.

We only use olive oil, coconut oil, and goats' milk for all our soaps. We combine this with essential oils in our scented bars. At this time the only colorings used have been Red Clay and Spirulina.

if you have never used our soaps I urge you to give them a try. If you have been using commercially made soaps the difference will surprise you.

Our soaps produce a great lather for fresh, clean, and moisturized skin. Our customers
with sensitive skin have been very pleased.

All bars are hand shaped and come in a beautiful burlap bag.

Hand-crafted goat soap made in Maine on Harmony Lane Farm using milk fresh from our goats combined with natural unprocessed oils, natural coloring and scents.

Saw an ad at bottom of my page for best moisturizer for dry skin and thought to myself why not goat soap? Since we have been making and using soap produced using fresh milk from our goats dry skin is no longer an issue. This soap both cleans and moisturizes at the same time leaving the skin silky smooth. Once people try this soap they can immediately feel the difference. Why spend more when a bar of hand-crafted soap made from all natural ingredients will immediately solve this problem.
