This was yesterday’s surprise find. She has a new bottle thankfully. The herd went to their new homes and we found this baby after the catch. So glad she will have a place to grow up and be spoiled rotten. We love our animals here at Big Buck$ Ranch.

We are looking for a summer intern. If you know any college age folks looking to break into the industry, this would be an opportunity for hands on exotic game ranch life. We have lodging available as well. Some of the tasks include- helping move animals, feeding animals, fence maintenance, general ranch tasks alongside Paul. Basically learning all that Paul does in day to day operations and offering assistance. This is for summer only and will be full time. Dm for info. Resumes can be sent to [email protected]



Update: we found one! Hoping they will enjoy their time at the ranch this summer and learn a lot. NWS has changed some of our daily routines with lots of observation time added to each day in each pen and a bucket of meds to have at the ready.

We spent a morning cleaning up our new property we got in order to add some more land to our exotic ranching space. As a bonus it already has a well, power and a cabin. We now have extra lodging for overflow folks when all the family comes to see us. Heading back again soon to cut some bigger trails. Love the peacefulness on the porch. It’s Friday!!!! Time to call it happy hour after a day of putting the work in.
