It has been waaaay to long since I have made a post!! Lots of things have happened since then.

We are currently in the process of building my dream greenhouse. It's beautiful and I can't wait to grow our food for our family in there. We have already hatched one round of chicks and have an incubator full of more due to hatch next week. We have been working on clearing more pasture for our horses! Our milk cow had her calf, and she's perfect 🥰 Liam shot his first deer.

Life on the homestead has been bountiful but it requires tons of work and patience especially during cold weather! We are all so excited for spring! We also have a surprise fur baby on the way! Any guesses on what it is?

Hey guys sorry to be absent so much! We have just been busy getting the homestead ready for winter.

Today was turkey processing day! These turkeys have been the best group we have ever raised, and I believe it's due to pasture raising them!! Enjoy some pictures of our time with them and the end results!

I think one of my favorite parts of having a homestead is getting to teach my children proper animal husbandry skills, and that no matter the day we always take care of our animals first before play💪💪

One of the things i was so excited to add to our garden this year was sunflowers 🌻

Not only do they provide us with a tasty snack, they also attract a massive amount of pollinators as well! 🐝🐝

Of course it was a great family bonding experience getting them all cut down and laid out to cure! In a couple weeks we will be processing the seeds!!
