Spectrum will be performing from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Origins BBQ will be selling food starting at 6:00 p.m. Bring your family, friends, blankets, beverages and chairs, this is one you won’t want to miss!!!

Don't forget the End of Summer Concert on the Lawn, tomorrow night (Sat, Aug 29) from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on the Saddle Ridge Lawn - 300 Saddle Ridge Circle. We are going to send off the summer with a performance by Spectrum. Our friends from Origins BBQ will be selling food under their tent starting at 6:00 p.m. We can't wait to see you there!

Our friends from Origins BBQ & Grill will be selling food!

Be sure to bring blankets or lawn chairs, bug spray, your family, friends, and neighbors for a great night of live entertainment

The King Farm Chronicle is continuing the annual tradition of featuring our back to school King Farm students photo collage in the upcoming September edition.

When you're heading out to the bus stop be sure to snap a picture of your student and send it to [email protected] by August 26, 2026.

Don’t forget tomorrow (Tues, Aug 4) King Farm will celebrate National Night Out Against Crime with the annual community lawn party from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on the Saddle Ridge lawn - 300 Saddle Ridge Circle.

• Live music by the band Girl Crush
• DM Slider & El Jeffe Pizza Food Trucks
• Moonbounces, glitter tattoos, glow necklaces, giveaways and fun!

We also expect visits from local police officers and firefighters! 🚒 🚔

The City of Rockville Government Movies in the Parks returns tomorrow, right here in King Farm! Come on out Thursday, July 30, 2026 for the first screening of the season, with a special showing of An American Tail: Fievel Goes West at Mattie J.T. Stepanek Park. The free screening begins at dusk (approximately 8 p.m.).

Bring your own chairs, blankets, food, and non-alcoholic beverages. Closed captioning will be on during the film. Learn more at rockvillemd.gov/moviesintheparks.

King Farm will celebrate National Night Out Against Crime with the annual community lawn party next Tuesday, August 4, 2026 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on the Saddle Ridge lawn - 300 Saddle Ridge Circle.

National Night Out gives an opportunity for King Farm residents to get to know their neighbors better and forge relationships with our public safety partners that can reduce crime and improve afety within the community.

In celebration of the event, King Farm will host a community lawn party for neighbors of all ages to enjoy!

Grab your lawn chair, bring the family and your neighbors the evening will feature:

• Live music by the band Girl Crush
• Food Trucks
• Moonbounces, glitter tattoos, glow necklaces, giveaways and fun!

We also anticipate a special visit from local police officers and firefighters!

We hope to see you there!

Unfortunately, due to continued concerns with the unhealthy air quality, the band is unable to perform this evening. We hope to reschedule them again soon!!!

We are keeping an eye on possible storms, the air quality and anything else that may disrupt tomorrow night's Concert on the Lawn! But for now, we are planning to "rock on!" We hope you will join your neighbors as we welcome a new band Run For Cover on the Saddle Ridge lawn (300 Saddle Ridge Circle) from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. We hope to see you there and will keep you posted with any updates!

🇺🇸 King Farm 4th of July Parade & Carnival Update 🇺🇸

Due to the forecasted excessive heat, with temperatures expected to reach 100°F, the difficult decision has been made to cancel tomorrow’s King Farm 4th of July Parade & Carnival.

The safety and well-being of our residents, vendors, and staff is our highest priority. With dangerously high temperatures expected throughout the day, we believe canceling the event is the safest course of action.

We know this is disappointing, and we appreciate your understanding.

We wish everyone a safe, happy, and healthy Fourth of July!
