We’re beyond proud to share that The Humble Goat took 2nd place at the 2025 American Cheese Society competition! This honor wouldn’t be possible without the incredible team at Stickney Hill Dairy, whose dedication, skill, and heart shine through in every batch.From early mornings in the dairy to the final packaging, their commitment to quality is what brings The Humble Goat to life and we are so thankful for each and every team member. Join us for a Makersofmn Dinner The Lexington with our The Humble Goat Cheese brand.

This will be a 3-course meal prepared with Minnesota Makers. We love supporting local farms and makers like Sweetland Orchard and K-Mama Sauce, LLC

Each month we will feature 3 local vendors and include their goods and products in a special 3-course menu celebrating our local makers.

We feel so humbled and honored to have placed 1st in the artisan cheese category at the MN State Fair! The cheese auction is live and proceeds will be supporting collegiate scholarships. Please visit the link if you are interested in bidding or learning more! 🐐

Congratulations to all the State Fair Butter & Cheese Contest participants! As always, the top placements in each category are on display in the Dairy Building, but new this year – the auction is open to the public.

Bidding will be open during the run of the State Fair at Fahey Sales Auctioneers and Appraisers, and closes at noon on Monday, September 6.

Proceeds will fund UMDIA’s Gene Watnaas scholarships, and winning bidders can pick up their cheese and butter at the Dairy Building on Sept. 7 or arrange for shipping.

Our team had the opportunity to help out at Cornerstone Farms breakfast on the farm last Saturday. We are proud of the quality milk that comes from our local producers and enjoy meeting the goats behind the cheese!
