Happy Aloha Friday!! We have our fish stored and ready to be prepped for our lucky customers this weekend! Flashback Friday to 2007 when I spent my early mornings at the fish auction in Pier 38 Honolulu, HI. At the time, they used to cut the sections at the tail end of the fish so that buyers could walk down the lines of palettes and inspect the quality of the big eye tunas. They would inspect each sample for color, texture and fat content of the tuna and place their bids. Literally Hawaii’s Stock Market. It was definitely a sight to see, especially seeing how beautiful and massive these tunas were.

Rockwall Hawaiian Style Poke is holding a fundraiser to help send Layla Tacazon to compete and represent TEAM USA KARATE in Konya, Turkey for this upcoming Jr. World Championships! Thank you all for the overwhelming love and support we've received so far. We will be selling poke bowls for $20 ea. till October 16th.
