Colorado Rural Water is inviting you to a free training class. This class will discuss emerging contaminates and upcoming nutrient regulations.
To register for the class, return this email to [email protected] 0.3 TUs for Wastewater, Water 0.15 will be awarded. Your operator’s ID number will need to be presented at the
registration desk.
Emerging Contaminates for Wastewater and Biosolids.
Learning Objectives:
Know what Emerging Contaminants are.
Be able to identify the sources of Emerging Contaminants
Identify potential treatment options.
Why and how scientists monitor Emerging Contaminates
Understand the cost and affordability of removing the contamination
What are the coming changes in PFAS.
SCADA and Digital Monitoring Systems
Learning Objectives:
Remote monitoring for tanks, flows, lift stations, lagoons, and water production
• Production and compliance data tracking
• Digital reporting and record keeping
• Safety and monitoring devices placed on pumps and motors. (current, amp, temp,)
• Distribution system pressure monitoring and flow tracking. (Identify PRV, and leaks)
• Is this affordable for rural and small utility operations?
