We grow cantaloupe, honeydew, watermelon, pumpkins, onions, corn, wheat and hay. Our story dates back more than 100 years to the early 1900's with a horse drawn wagon, driven by G.L. Proctor, taking produce to neighboring farm markets. Eventually, "day runs" of driving produce 180 miles to the city in an old farm truck evolved. Vernon Proctor, founded, a solid tradition by delivering home grown produce to The Denver Market. He distinguished himself by offering farm fresh produce of impeccable quality. His word and a hand shake carried his business. That tradition has stayed in the Proctor family. Today, at Proctor Produce you will see 4 generations striving to continue what he started years ago. Over the years, Proctor Produce has grown into raising cantaloupes, honeydew, watermelons, pumpkins, onions, corn, wheat and hay. We are committed to maintaining good agricultural practices as well as applying a strong work ethic started by our great grandfather and grandfather years ago. Currently, with more than 30 years of farming experience, Matthew Proctor owns and operates Proctor Produce. Our cantaloupe is hand picked in the fields of Rocky Ford, Colorado and packed and shipped by Hirakata Farms. We supply cantaloupe to major grocery chains including King Soopers, Safeway, Whole Foods and Sprouts.
