With heavy and broken hearts, we wanted to let you all know that we had to downsize tremendously. Hurricane Helene wiped out a lot of our pasture fences. There was too much damage for us to be able to fix on our own in enough time to keep the cows safe. We had to sell the majority of our herd. We still have 5 steers that we are feeding out that were in a safe pasture and will be processed over the next year. Some of those steers are already sold by the half (Rice, Burkhead, and Warner- don’t worry we still have your half for you!)! We have one more half that we can sell and then the rest will be available to be sold by the pound. We will have beef end of November for sale by the pound and then spread out about every other month. After these 5 we will unfortunately only have one a year to sell. This was a very hard decision and has broken our hearts. One day, we may try to build the herd back, but until then we will be spending time enjoying our boys growing up and hopefully enjoying a vacation without stressing about cows!
We thank you all so much for your loyalty to us over the last few years. We appreciate you all and love you all! We could not have made it this far without you! Thank you! We have other local farmers we can get you in touch with for local, farm raised beef for when we run out.
