World, meet Miss March. She and her sister are looking for a forever home. 🖤
March, born 3.12.24- she's our baby that is pictured. She has a funky gait but is otherwise healthy and will be ready to wean later this month.
April, born 4.18.24- She does have a swollen left front carpal joint. We suspect she likely sustained injury from a birth extraction. She is still on Nsaids and we're seeing improvement. We're hoping that time helps heal the joint.
They are thick as theives! And are both comfortable around pups and poltury. 🐶🐓

Holy cow! *pun intended* 😂 I have so many updates I'm not even to sure where to start. 🙃

As many of yall know we have taken a step back from farmers markets this year as Beau works on completing his BS but we will continue offering drop points, farm pick ups and deliveries. 🚗 We will be doing a soft launch of online orders this week! Our website is undergoing some maintenance but should be up and running midweek. With that will come the announcement of our weekly drop points for milk. 🥛

Lastly, but more importantly! We have to give a huge thank you to our dear friends the Coopers! 🤗 Mister Cooper helped us save this beautiful milking momma that was suffering from severe hoofrot. She is thriving! We just couldn't be more proud of her! 🥹 Sweet girls name is Mrs. Bettie and she will be one of our milking mommas this Spring. 🥛

Pumpkin is our voluptuous fall baby. 🍂 She is sweet to a fault. 🥹 She may not be ideal for someone who has more assertive girls in their herd because she isn't one to fight for her share in feed. She'd be ideal as a future family milking cow. 🖤🐮 She's also extremely comfortable around pups, chickens, and other farm friends. 🐓

Weaned and ready for her new home April 1st.
Winnie is very docile and gentle. She loves attention and is comfortable around kids, chickens, and dogs. 🐓🐕 Winnie was rescued with Bellatrix from a local auction. She was unable to put any weight on her back right leg and there was a lot of swelling around her joint. We presumed she was likely injured during her extraction from her mother. She will likely be on medication for the pain and swelling for quite a bit longer- possibly indefinitely. Our Vet is confident she will grow up to be a healthy heifer but will need monitoring if bred. She will be sent off with vet records.

A huge congratulations to Temple feed on their beautiful new location! 🎉 We can't even begin to express our immense gratitude for everyone at Temple Feed! 🖤 Yall have been so extremely kind and helpful as we've journeyed into market growing and dairy. With yalls support we've been able to accomplish so much.. and speaking of which..
As one chapter closes, another one opens. 🖤 It's with heavy but full hearts that we announce our break from farmers markets this year. Beau (and now Cory) will be focusing this year on completing their undergrad while we continue growing our dairy herd and rescuing babies out of feed lots and commercial dairy. 🐮 With rescue efforts amping up, we are quickly running out of space on the farm; so we will be offering adoptions this year. More to come on that later. 🖤🐄
We are simply stepping away from farmers markets- NOT farming. We will be operating strictly on drop points, pick ups and deliveries. This is strictly out of necessity. Our goal is to give the guys ample time to focus on school so that in due time, we can truly begin to make waves in the community. We will start taking orders May 1st. 🥛🥚
Lastly, we want to say a huge thank you again to everyone who has cheered us on. 🥹🤗 We are extremely grateful to be a part of this community and look forward to what the future has to offer. 🖤

Whoowee. Let me just say we were not at all prepared for the weather that came in this past week. 🥶 Thankfully, I do think we are going to be alright for the time being. 🤞🏼 We're watching to see what manages to bounce back and what will inevitably be a total loss.. but we're staying optimistic! 😁

A pumpkin, perfect for pies, that you don't have to gut?! Um. Yes, please! 🎃 That's right. Say -NO- to icky, sticky, stringy guts this year with a deliciously sweet NECK PUMPKIN! 😋 Similar to a Butternut, the entire neck is bright orange, fleshy meat with NO seeds! 🤯 We'll be bringing these homegrown gems to Walker Honey farm this weekend! 🍯🐝 Cue the happy dance! 💃🏽

Happy indigenous peoples day! 🎉🪶
We are on native land. For parts of Bell and most of Milam county the Tonkawa ran with the wolves through the native Mesquite and alongside the lakes. Their creation story began in Cameron and encouraged them to live like the wolf. 🐺 They were incredible hunters. I strongly encourage everyone to use this incredible resource to see who walked Turtle island before you. 🐢🌎
