Our English Chocolate/Cuckoo Orpington and Plymouth Barred Rock babies are all the same age, but our Barred Rocks are growing and feathering out at a much faster rate than the Orpingtons. They're thriving, but still so itty bitty in comparison!

Our barn stall coop is coming along nicely. We made it out of mostly pallets and scrap wood and lumber we found in our barn. We decided last minute to add a second coop. These barn coops allow the chickens to be out of the hard north wind, rain and freezing winter temps when need be. So far it's taken 9 actual build days to get this done... including the runs on outside of the barn.
