WORMS 🐛
It’s a fact, any livestock or outdoor animal will get worms at some point. Worms in your chickens can be deadly. It will most certainly put a hurt on your egg production.
A safe, non chemical, method for worming your chicks/chickens is Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth. Mix this with their food and give them one serving per month.
Make sure you get Food Grade!

Mix 1/4 cup to two pounds of food.

This is also great to mix with the bedding of your coop to kill and prevent mites!

This coop is 4’ x 6’ and built very strong with local sawmill lumber. This can be stained or left natural.

These chicks were hatched from our hens. They are a mix of Black Australorp, Rhode Island Red and Sapphire Gem. They are much healthier than one you buy at Tracor Supply or Rural King.

We can raise some for you if you’d like to start a flock for fresh eggs!

PASTY BUTT
Did you know that giving your chicks a small amount of ORGANIC apple cider vinegar in their drinking water will prevent pasty butt - which can be deadly if it goes untreated.
Make sure your vinegar says “With the Mother” this is a natural probiotic.
1/2 tsp per quart.
