We had our first fundraiser event today and we’re so glad to see everyone!

We are starting a new option this year that we hope to be able to continue, the All-Day Armband. These armbands are $5 and for the wearer, secure unlimited snowcones for the day purchased.

However, we did have some issues with people purchasing one band and then attempting to use the band to collect snowcones for the whole family or for friends. This was brought to our attention by several adults and also was noticed when children with armbands would state that they were using their armbands to get cones for parents, siblings, or friends who did not have one.

Please be aware that this is not only not allowed but is also theft, as it takes away from the proceeds that are generated for the fundraising event and because you’re taking products for which you have not paid.

We will attempt to continue to offer this option but will be monitoring its use and monitoring closely for any abuse. If the misuse of the bands continues, we will discontinue them and revert back to the per cup charge.

We appreciate everyone that turned out today and hope that this is the beginning of a great year!
