Our Story

Hyper-seasonal, micro-local handcrafted with care every weekend. Harvest Restaurant is a beautiful 9 minute drive just east of Springfield. We are situated within the Sunshine Valley Farm apple orchard. Chef Craig von Foerster spent his entire 30+ year career crafting menus that are driven by the seasons, flavor and experience. Produce for the seasonal weekend menu comes from Ozarks local farms, including the farm that was started in 1932 by Tamara's grandparents, Paul and Gladys Pursley. Tamara truly is the “Farmers Daughter” she grows produce, herbs and berries for the Harvest Menu on the very Farm she grew up on. Craig and Tamara are now the 3rd generation to care for its land. Together they own/operate Harvest. A quaint little spot not far from the city, rooted in the country. Join us for something delicious this weekend.
