This week seven of our piggies went to Green Meadow Farms! 💚
Earlier this Spring, John and I thought we’d ease our way into pig farming by purchasing just two sows. Unbeknownst to us they were both pregnant and we were blessed with many more piggies than we initially bargained for! We went from two to seventeen pigs in less than a week.
Having more piggies than we needed, we were grateful to hear that our friends at Green Meadow Farms wanted to purchase some. Earlier this week we loaded seven piggies into their trailer and said goodbye, knowing they will be well taken care of and live good piggy lives.
Green Meadow Farms holds a special place in our hearts. They helped us establish Beulah Lea by selling us our first chickens (even though they weren’t selling chickens 😆) and sharing their wealth of knowledge with us.
