Greek Hill Farms is a family-run farm owned by Abe and Heather Brister nestled on 100 acres in the Endless Mountains of PA. We consist of Greek Hill Kunekune Farm, Greek Hill Kinders, and Greek Hill Honey Farm. Our daughter Mikhaela Brister owns and operates MyKune Farm at the same location. Our Facebook presence is run and maintained by our sister Audrey DeWolf. All phone calls and emails go dire

ctly to Abe and Heather at the farm. We offer top registered breeding stock, quality registered homestead hogs, and barrows for pasture companions and meat grow outs for your farm. In 2023, we will be retailing our delicious pastured, kunekune pork. We also raise registered kinder goats which we believe are the perfect homestead goat. It was developed to be a dual-purpose goat providing both meat and milk. We currently offer registered breeding stock only and will be retailing goat meat as supplies last starting in 2023. In addition, we produce honey and raise Muscovy ducks, Pekin ducks, Khaki Campbell ducks, Embden geese, Bresse chickens, and heritage turkeys. Hatching eggs, eating eggs, ducklings, pullets, and Pastured poultry will be available on a limited basis while supplies last. Thanks for letting us serve you!

We are excited to be members of the Empire Kunekune Pig Association who work hard to bring us factual data about Kunekunes. The Association paid to have nutritional analysis done on kunekune pork and the results are amazing! We are sold out of our USDA pork for this year but have barrows available for you to grow out at your own home.

I love experimenting in the kitchen. This dish was amazing. A braised leg of goat in Obe ata over rice. The key for tender goat meat is to cook slowly and with liquid. -Audrey

Do you want a great BBQ recipe for the summer? Smoked Kunekune Boston butt or picnic shoulder makes the most delicious Carolina pulled pork sandwiches!
Recipe below:
Rub the pork down with 2 Tbs of kosher salt, 2 Tbs of coarse black pepper, and 2 Tbs of paprika.
Smoke at 250 degrees with your favorite wood chips or pellets. Apple wood pairs well with pork. Smoke until internal temp reaches 200 degrees. Smoke time varies depending on size. Expect about 8 to 10 hours of smoking.
Prepare your baste. 1 cup of apple cider vinegar, 1 cup of your favorite beer or cola, 1 Tbs of Worcestershire sauce, and 2 tsp of red pepper flakes. Baste every hour.
Once the internal temperature of the meat reaches 200 degrees remove from smoker. Wrap in tin foil and allow to rest for an hour.
Make BBQ sauce. Heat 2 cups of apple cider vinegar, 1 and 1/2 cups of water, 1/2 cup of ketchup, 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 2 Tbs of salt, 1 Tbs of black pepper, 1 Tbs of red pepper flakes. Bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and simmer for 25 minutes.
Shred the pork!
The BBQ is tangy and pairs well with creamy coleslaw on top of your favorite bun. Recipe is curtesy of Heygrillhey.com
