Los Angeles just opened a home for over two hundred people who had nowhere to sleep. 🏠 The new Olinda Tiny Homes village opened Monday in Sun Valley with one hundred twenty three units and two hundred eight beds. Mayor Karen Bass and the nonprofit Hope the Mission built the site to move people off motel stays and closer to permanent housing. 🏘️

Residents pay no rent and get three meals a day plus case management as they rebuild their lives. It is easy to forget that behind every homelessness number is a real person hoping for a safe place to sleep. 💛 The city plans to build over five hundred tiny homes total. Small shelters like this one can spark real change.

Hi! I have been doing hair since February 2025, I work at Foil & Co. I am a member of Mt. Alto Baptist Church, and a widowed Mama of 3, ages 11, 6, & 4. I love doing hair and helping people feel their best and I love the opportunities I get to pour into people, encourage them and talk about Jesus.
