Good morning all. I am going to share what’s going on.

I (Dereck) have been diagnosed with stage 1 Pancreatic Cancer. I will be facing Chomotherapy and a “Whipple Procedure” surgery in the very near future. That will be followed by months of recovery. Joan had her left hip replaced on Tuesday, and as soon as that recovery is over, she will have her right hip replaced.

With that being said, I am sure you will understand that we have to concentrate on our health and future. Reopening the market does not fit into the plan.

We have so enjoyed the interactions with you over the years from the Food Truck, the Restaurant, and the Market. We have met so many wonderful people. Thank you for 15 fun years.

Hi everyone. Dereck here. I have been in the hospital since Saturday and just got home. I still have another procedure to get through and it may be the middle of next week before that happens. Recovery should be relatively short. It will be well into next week before the possibility to open will exist. We will keep you updated as we know.
