Getting ready for winter, one bale at a time! 🚜

Here’s Riley out in the field, making sure the hay bales are looking good. ☺️

While we're still soaking up these summer days, there’s always work to be done to prepare for the colder months ahead. Making hay while the sun shines... literally!

The new store is coming together, one little project at a time! πŸ”¨πŸ˜Š
In these pics, we're working on the sidewalk outside the store. And if you peek through the door in one of these photos, you'll see that the drywall is up inside, too! πŸ‘€

There’s still plenty to do, but we're getting closer every day. We can't wait to finally open the doors and share this space with you.

Come see it for yourself at our Farm Day & Store Opening on Saturday, September 26th! We'll have farm activities, guest speakers, raw ice cream, the store opening, and more. And if you want to stick around, we're ending the day with a bonfire and dinner. πŸ”₯

If you're coming all the way out to the farm for our store opening & farm day, why not stay awhile? 😊

After Farm Day winds down, we're keeping things going with a bonfire and dinner. It's a smaller group, a slower pace, and a chance to sit around the fire, enjoy a good meal, and watch the sun go down. No rushing off, no packed schedule. Just good food and good company.

Here's what's for dinner:
🌭 Our natural beef hot dogs - you'll roast them yourself right over the fire.
🍟 Fresh-cut French fries - made by a food truck and fried in our own beef tallow.
πŸ₯— A salad bar - and don't worry, it's not a sad one. πŸ˜‰

If you're already planning to come for Farm Day, we'd love for you to stick around for dinner. Bonfire + dinner tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for kids.
Just select the Dinner Ticket when you check out. πŸ”₯πŸ’š

Just another day in the life of these pasture-raised chickens. πŸ”πŸŒ± These guys are about 6 weeks old now, which means they're getting pretty big and starting to fill out their mobile coops!

They spend their days outside on fresh pasture, scratching, pecking, dust bathing, and doing all the chicken things. We move their coops regularly so they get fresh grass and a clean spot to explore.

They'll have a couple more weeks out here before they're ready for processing at around 8–9 weeks old. For now, they're just enjoying the sunshine, plenty of room to roam, and a whole lot of grass. πŸ’šπŸ”

Honestly, not a bad way to spend the day.

We officially have our speakers confirmed for Farm Day & Store Opening! πŸŽ‰πŸŒΏ

One of the things we're most excited about is the chance to sit down together and talk about why we farm the way we do, what's actually in your food, and where we're headed next.

You'll hear from three people who each bring a different piece of the story:

β˜€οΈ Tony Eash - Triple E Farms
Tony will talk about why he chose to farm differently in the first place. Doing things the right way often costs more and takes longer, and when he started, nobody was asking for β€œregenerative” food. So why do it anyway? He'll share the story behind Triple E, what's ahead for the farm, and why opening this store is such a big milestone.

β˜€οΈ John King - County Line Feeds
Ever wondered what your chicken, turkey, or pork actually eats? John formulates and mills the corn & soy-free, chemical-free feed we use here at Triple E. He'll walk us through what's in the feed, why each ingredient matters, and what changes when you take the industrial stuff out of the equation. John is also Triple E Farm's feed supplier.

β˜€οΈ Marie Reedell - Marie Ideas
Marie will take that conversation one step further: what happens when animals eat differently? She'll talk about how an animal's diet can affect the meat and eggs we eat, including omega-6 to omega-3 ratios, PUFAs, toxin loads, and phytonutrients. She's done the research and testing and will share what she's found. She will also speak about nutrition and how food affects our body.

It's going to be a really interesting conversation, and we're excited for you to hear it right here on the farm.

And that's just one part of Farm Day! We'll be moving the beef herd, milking cows, eating raw ice cream, opening the new farm store, and ending the day with a bonfire and dinner. πŸ”₯

A farmer, an electrician, and now apparently a drywall guy!

Here’s Tony getting the lights hooked up in the new store. Turns out he’s pretty handy to have around! πŸ”¨πŸ’‘

And hey, look at that nice drywall! We’re getting closer and closer. Paint is coming soon, and we can’t wait to see this place finally come together...one day at a time!

Summer lunches are kinda the best. We love our smoked beef brisket for a tasty sandwich situation. πŸ₯ͺ

Pile it onto fresh sourdough with a little mustard, sliced onion, and a crunchy pickle. Or serve it cold with cheese, crackers, and fresh tomatoes from the garden.

Simple ingredients. Real food. Lunch sorted.

Ever wondered what it actually looks like to move a herd of cattle to fresh pasture? πŸ„πŸŒ±

Come see it for yourself at our Farm Day & Store Opening on Saturday, September 26th!

Moving the herd to fresh pasture is a regular part of life here. The cows get fresh, diverse grass to graze, while the pasture they've left gets time to rest and recover. It's a simple part of our regenerative farming system, and it's pretty neat to see it happening!

You'll get to help move the beef herd, meet the animals, see the farm, enjoy some raw ice cream, hear from guest speakers, and much more!

Raw homemade ranch is so easy to make πŸ˜‹ Just a few pantry spices and our Raw Greek Yogurt, and you've got a creamy dip that's perfect for fresh veggies, chicken wings, potato wedges, or spreading on a sandwich.πŸ₯ͺ

Why raw yogurt? When you heat the milk only as much as is needed (never past 110F), ALL of the probiotics, enzymes, vitamins, and minerals stay intact. That makes a yogurt with WAY MORE nutrition and probiotic diversity and power compared to its pasteurized counterpart. When you make yogurt with pasteurized milk (or even raw milk heated to 180F, which is standard), you lose a lot and only end up with a handful of probiotic strains in the yogurt culture.

And plus, store ranches are usually filled with weird ingredients (including powdered mixes and stabilizers). When you make it at home, you have full control. Make the flavor fit your family, and provide them the best food you can.

We've shared the full recipe on our website here: https://tripleefarming.com/recipes/raw-yogurt-ranch-dip

So if you've got a container of Raw Greek Yogurt in the fridge, give it a try (or get some with your next order - eating farm direct often requires a little planning ahead). We have a feeling it'll become a regular around your table. πŸ’šπŸ₯•
